There is a small literature, almost exclusively from the early 70s, on the use of antipsychotics in the treatment of chronic pain. Most of these reports are case series, and a few poorly done DB studies. The results in these reports are always positive. There is one small study of Prolixin and nortryptiline a few years ago.
Thorazine is used to break a refractory migraine - but not given on a chronic basis.
